MERN Stack Developer

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack, ensuring reliable, scalable, and high-quality application performance.
  • Convert Figma/PSD designs into responsive React.js interfaces that provide a consistent and user-friendly experience across different devices.
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs to enable smooth communication between frontend and backend systems.
  • Debug, optimize, and maintain existing applications by identifying technical issues and improving performance, stability, and functionality.
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to understand requirements and deliver quality solutions within project timelines.
  • Use Claude Code for AI-assisted development and review, test, and validate AI-generated code before integrating it into production applications.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Strong experience with React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and JavaScript (ES6+), with a good understanding of modern web development practices.
  • Experience working with Next.js and TypeScript for building modern and maintainable web applications.
  • Ability to convert Figma/PSD designs into responsive, pixel-accurate, and user-friendly web interfaces.
  • Experience working with REST APIs, PostgreSQL/MongoDB, and Prisma ORM for application and database development.
  • Knowledge of Git for version control and a good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
  • Understanding of responsive web development and cross-browser compatibility to ensure applications work effectively across devices and browsers.
  • Ability to debug existing codebases, identify issues, implement fixes, and work independently when required.
  • Hands-on experience with Claude Code is mandatory, along with the ability to effectively review and validate AI-assisted code.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to understand requirements and work effectively with the development team.
